Our Scottish collection Frae has been our most successful collection to date. The collection has been published in over 40 different magazines/websites across 0ver 20 countries. We have even made the front cover of Overhead in Austria, as well as the look of the day in Estetica. The collection is still being used in many publications nearly a year after its conception. 

Our Stylist Lesley has been chosen to be part of the TIGI Sessions Team for 2019. Lesley will work along side the TIGI International Creative Team at London's Fashion Weeks in February and September this year. Working with the team to create the hair for designer catwalk fashion shows.

Ainsley, our Creative Stylist, has been announced as one of the very Barber Project 2019 team. The team will travel across the UK this year learning from the best barbers in the business, accumulating with presenting on stage at Salon International in front of thousands of her peers.

This unique Project is aimed at Hairdressers looking to improve their barbering skills, or those just wanting to dip their toe in the water. It’s also an ideal project for a new barber looking to work with and learn from the very best in the industry. It will take you on a journey through Men’s hairdressing into the core barbering skills of clipper work and wet-shaving. 

F&M Hairdressing had the honour of being crowned the Hair Salon of the Year for the West of Scotland!. The award was announced at a gala dinner in the Crown Plaza, Glasgow on Sunday 9th Decmber 2018.

We are extremely proud and honoured to announce that we have made the finals of the British Hairdressing Business Awards 2018. This is the first time we have entered the awards and have been named within the final 6 in the Salon Design category.

Kevin and Brian will be representing the salon at the awards on Monday 17th September. Fingers crossed !

The salon has been announced as finalist in two categories, Salon Design & Ultimate Salon. A great achievement as this is the first time we have ever entered these awards.

The seventh annual Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards welcomed 700 guests at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Sunday, December 3^rd in a celebration of the Scottish hair and beauty industry.

30^th November 2017, London: Small business owners from the length and breadth of the UK are visiting Downing Street today to mark Small Business Saturday, which takes place this Saturday, December 2^nd.

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, Small Business Saturday is the nationwide campaign to support, inspire and promote the UK’s 5.7 million small businesses. This year it has again selected 100 small businesses for the Small Biz 100, many of which will be attending the reception at Downing Street this afternoon. We are pleased to say that F&M Hairdressing was part of the Small Biz 100 and attended the event at Downing Street.

Small Business Saturday receives widespread support from local authorities across the country, from business and from government. At today’s Downing Street reception, small business owners will be welcomed by Stephen Barclay MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Baroness Fairhead CBE, Minister of State at the Department for International Trade, Claire Perry MP, Minister of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and Caroline Nokes MP, Minister for Government Resilience and Efficiency.

Michelle Ovens MBE, Director, Small Business Saturday, said: “Small Business Saturday shines a spotlight on our local businesses to show how vitally important they are to individual communities and the UK as a whole. We are encouraging everyone to support the small businesses near them this Saturday, by shopping local, and also giving them their backing into 2018 and beyond.”

On the 8th September 2016, F&M were awarded the Clyde1 Style Award at the Hilton in Glasgow by the beautiful Miss United Kingdom. Six of the team were on hand at the gala dinner to accept the award and then enjoyed the entertainment with none other than Fran Healy of Travis, who also won the Pride of the Clyde award. The guys would like to thank the huge amount of clients that nominated us, telling the judges why we deserved the award, as well as Clyde1 for hosting a sensational night!

F&M are finalists in East Renfrewshire Business Awards

THE cream of local business crop descended on Barrhead for the second annual East Renfrewshire business awards.

The glitzy East Renfrewshire chamber of commerce event was held at Dalmeny Park country house hotel, with the winners announced by writer and broadcaster Sally Magnusson and entertainment provided by Edward Reid, of Britain’s Got Talent fame.
