We love nothing more than new trends and love to see our clients try out new looks! Here is some inspiration for new looks!
The Shag
It’s back and here to stay! Once popular in the 1970’s the style is so on trend for AW21. A very wearable and adaptable style, the shag works with most hair types, with the client advised to embrace their natural texture which results in the relaxed, lived in look. When cut in correctly, the shag can be styled in a number of different ways – naturally dried, blow dried, straightened or curled. Dependent on the finish required, ensure products are used to compliment the look.
The Boyfriend Bob
A much more relaxed take on the one length bob, this look is all about layers and texture. The bob has taken the hair world by storm for many years and been a hot favourite from 2019, it truly is a timeless style. With a blunt cut and choppy texture, the square outlined style is very much a statement style and can completely transform the clients overall look. When cut in correctly this can be styled as a relaxed, undone look or straight and sleek, with a sharp finish.
Face Framing Layers
Paying tribute to ‘The Rachel’ this cut brings the style into the modern day, framing the face with several long, choppy layers, which frame the face perfectly. Forget the diagonal cut, go for the straight edged chop to make much more of a statement style.
Curtain Bangs
Gone are the micro fringes and back are the gorgeous curtain bangs that we all loved back in 2016. Flattering for most hair types, the bangs can be tailored to the overall style in terms of lengths and also the thickness of the sections as required.
